This year, the dancers of the Senior Tualatin Dance Company have been invited to travel to New York during the summer of 2016. The company members will have the opportunity to dance with the New York City Ballet, the Radio City Rockettes, and the Alvin Ailey Ballet School in the form of advanced dance workshops. The Senior Company will also be able to see shows featuring dancers that have gone on to make dancing their career.

 

In order for this trip to become a reality, the Tualatin Dance Company must raise $30,000, which will help offset the cost of the company's trip including advanced dance instruction, travel, lodging, and meals.
